Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking an appointment with or using the website of In Motion Rehab.

These Terms apply to appointments and services provided by In Motion Rehab Limited, trading as In Motion Rehab, including osteopathy, rehabilitation, clinical sports massage and personal training, as well as your use of this website.

By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until they have been accepted and confirmed by In Motion Rehab.

Please provide accurate and relevant information when booking and during your appointments, including information about your health, medical history, symptoms, injuries, medication and any changes that may be relevant to your treatment or training.

If I believe that a service is not appropriate for you, I may recommend that you seek assessment or care from another healthcare professional rather than proceeding with treatment or training.

2. Fees and payment

Current fees are displayed on the Pricing page of the In Motion Rehab website.

Payment is taken at the end of each appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Appointments are currently self-funded and In Motion Rehab does not currently accept or bill private health insurers directly.

Prices may be changed from time to time. Any change will not affect an appointment that has already been confirmed at an agreed price.

3. Session packages

Selected services are available as prepaid session packages.

Packages must be paid for in full at the time of purchase and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused sessions remaining after this period will expire unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Packages are non-transferable and may only be used by the person for whom they were purchased.

Where a package is purchased for a particular service and appointment duration, the sessions are intended to be used for that service and appointment type unless otherwise agreed.

If you cancel or reschedule a package appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, the session will remain available within your package.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments, will be treated as a used session and deducted from the remaining package balance in accordance with the In Motion Rehab cancellation policy.

Nothing in these provisions affects your statutory consumer rights.

4. Osteopathy packages

Osteopathy packages apply to 45-minute follow-up appointments and are only available following an initial osteopathic assessment.

Purchasing an osteopathy package does not mean that all six appointments are necessarily clinically required.

Recommendations about the frequency and duration of osteopathic care will always be based on your individual needs, response to treatment and clinical progress rather than the number of sessions remaining in a package.

If I believe that further osteopathic treatment is no longer appropriate or necessary, I will discuss this with you rather than recommending additional appointments simply because sessions remain in your package.

Unused sessions will never be used as a reason to recommend treatment that I do not consider clinically appropriate.

If I advise that further osteopathic treatment is no longer clinically appropriate before all sessions have been used, I will not recommend further treatment simply to use the package. We will discuss a fair arrangement for any unused prepaid sessions, which may include a refund for the unused proportion or another appropriate option agreed with you.

Nothing in these package terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

I ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments, are charged at the full appointment fee.

Home visits mean I set aside travel time as well as appointment time, so late cancellations are particularly difficult to fill. Giving as much notice as possible allows me to offer the appointment to somebody else waiting to be seen.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact me as soon as possible by telephone, email or the contact method agreed when your appointment was arranged.

If I need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, no cancellation charge will apply. Where an appointment has been prepaid, the payment or package session will remain available for a rearranged appointment. If I am unable to provide the service within a reasonable period and a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, any payment for the unprovided service will be refunded.

Nothing in this cancellation policy affects any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to you under UK law.

6. Appointment locations

Osteopathy and clinical sports massage appointments are provided as home visits within agreed areas of London.

Rehabilitation and personal training appointments may take place as home visits, outdoors in a suitable London park, or at a private training studio in Queen's Park, depending on the service booked and what has been agreed in advance.

For home visits, please provide a reasonably safe, private and suitable space in which the appointment can take place.

Depending on the service and location, I may bring treatment or exercise equipment required for the appointment.

If there are access issues, parking restrictions or anything else that may materially affect a home visit, please let me know before the appointment where reasonably possible.

For outdoor sessions, the location will be agreed in advance. Sessions may need to be rearranged or relocated if weather conditions or the environment make it unsafe or unsuitable to continue.

For studio-based rehabilitation or personal training, the location and access details will be confirmed before your appointment.

I reserve the right not to begin, or to stop, an appointment where I reasonably believe that the environment or circumstances make it unsafe or inappropriate to continue.

7. Examination, treatment and consent

Before carrying out an osteopathic examination or treatment, I will explain what I propose to do and obtain your consent.

Consent is an ongoing process. You are free to ask questions, decline any part of an examination or treatment, or ask for it to stop at any time.

Treatment recommendations will be based on the information available at the time, your assessment and your individual circumstances.

Where appropriate, you may also be given advice, exercises or rehabilitation recommendations to carry out between appointments.

8. Chaperones

You are welcome to have a friend, family member or other suitable person present during your appointment as a chaperone.

For osteopathic home visits, and before any examination or treatment of an intimate area, I will ask whether you would like a chaperone to be present, in accordance with the Osteopathic Practice Standards.

In Motion Rehab Limited is a sole-practitioner service and is not able to provide a chaperone. If you would like a chaperone, you may arrange for a suitable friend, family member or other person to attend.

If you would like or require a chaperone and one is not available, the relevant examination or treatment will not proceed. I can rearrange the appointment to allow you an opportunity to arrange a suitable chaperone. If this is not possible, you may need to arrange your care with another osteopath or healthcare provider who is able to provide one.

Where required, the offer of a chaperone, whether it was accepted or declined, and the presence of any chaperone will be recorded in the clinical record.

9. Rehabilitation and personal training

Rehabilitation and personal training programmes are individually planned according to your current capabilities, goals and the information you provide.

Exercise and physical activity involve a degree of physical exertion and cannot be entirely free of risk. Exercises will be selected and progressed according to what is considered appropriate for you at the time.

Where I reasonably consider it necessary for your safety, I may ask you to obtain appropriate medical clearance or guidance from your GP, consultant, surgeon or another treating healthcare professional before beginning or progressing rehabilitation or personal training.

This may be particularly relevant following surgery or where a health condition or other contraindication could affect your ability to exercise safely.

Please tell me promptly if you experience new or significantly worsening symptoms, feel unwell, receive a new diagnosis, start or change medication, or experience any other change that may affect your ability to exercise safely.

You may stop or decline any exercise at any time.

10. Results and outcomes

Healthcare, rehabilitation and personal training outcomes vary between individuals.

Although I will provide services with appropriate professional care and skill, no particular outcome, recovery time or improvement can be guaranteed.

Any expected timescales discussed during an appointment are estimates based on the information available at that time and may change as your condition or circumstances develop.

11. Website information

The information provided on the In Motion Rehab website, including articles and educational material, is intended for general information only.

Website content is not a substitute for an individual medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment and should not be relied upon to diagnose or manage a health condition without appropriate professional advice.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek appropriate urgent medical assistance rather than contacting In Motion Rehab through the website.

12. Website availability and accuracy

I make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and up to date. However, information such as services, availability and prices may occasionally change.

I may update, amend or remove website content without prior notice.

Temporary interruptions to the website may occur because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside my reasonable control.

13. Third-party websites

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

These websites are operated independently of In Motion Rehab. I am not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms of use.

The inclusion of a link does not necessarily mean that In Motion Rehab endorses all information, products or services available through that website.

14. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the original text, branding, graphics and other content created for the In Motion Rehab website belong to In Motion Rehab or are used with appropriate permission.

Website content may be viewed and used for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, publish, distribute or commercially exploit original In Motion Rehab content without permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Privacy and personal information

Personal information is handled in accordance with the In Motion Rehab Privacy Policy.

Health and clinical information will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the professional obligations applying to registered osteopaths.

Please read the Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is collected, used, stored and protected.

16. Complaints and concerns

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you receive, please contact me so that I have an opportunity to understand, investigate and respond to your concern.

Complaints can be made by email to inmotionrehab1@gmail.com.

I will acknowledge and respond to complaints as promptly as reasonably possible and will let you know if further time is needed to investigate a matter properly.

Complaints relating to osteopathic professional practice may also be raised with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) where appropriate.

17. Liability and your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any responsibility or liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, including your right to receive services carried out with reasonable care and skill.

18. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the services provided, business practices or applicable law.

The version published on the website at the time of your booking will normally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law.

The date of the most recent update will be shown at the top of this page.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer rights relating to where you live or your right to bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
